What Not to DO Before Your Wedding!
As your wedding day draws closer, you may be feeling excited yet jittery all at the same time. The big day that you and your partner have planned for is finally materializing! You might be armed with a long checklist of items to do. However, here is a list of things not to do before your upcoming wedding.
1. New Skincare Routine
Some brides upgrade their skincare in the weeks leading up to their wedding to try and improve their complexion for the big day. This can sometimes backfire on you as more expensive skincare does not necessarily mean it is suitable for your skin. The last thing you want is have any breakouts or allergic reactions to deal with! We would strongly advise sticking to your old skincare regime for the time being.
2. Drastic Wedding Changes
Trust yourself. Breathe. You may be second guessing yourself and tempted to make drastic changes due to anxiety or doubt. Last minute changes are not recommended unless it is absolutely necessary or due to unforeseen circumstances. Remind yourself that you are in good hands with your vendors and everything will turn out perfect!
3. Play Contact Sports
It might be a good time to lay off contact sports for the time being to prevent any cuts/bruises which needs time to heal. You can still turn to other forms of exercise which are less injury prone. This applies to our grooms as well!
4. Try New Food
Tempted to try something new that you have never eaten before? Try not to get adventurous with new food a few days before your big day. It would be wise to exercise caution in this case and avoid food that is not familiar to you. It is not the time to discover a food allergy or have gastrointestinal issues.
5. Sweat the Small Stuff
At the end of the day, it's not worthwhile to obsess over every minute detail and be upset when things do not go your way. Â Look at the bigger picture and know that all your preparation and planning will eventually pay off.Â
Lastly, relax and immerse into the joyful atmosphere during your big day!
